Orphaned solar systems
My solar company went out of business. Now what?
What happens to your warranties, how to tell if your system is working, and how to get service in Oregon.
- Any installer, including SunPower
- Oregon-owned since 2009
- Repairs, inverters and battery add-ons

The short answer
Your system can still be serviced. Panel and inverter warranties usually come from the manufacturer, not the installer, so they generally still apply. What you lose is the installer's workmanship warranty. National Solar services and repairs systems from installers that have closed, including SunPower systems, and can add a battery at the same time.
