1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use our website, contact forms, or savings calculator, you may provide:

  • Utility provider and average monthly electricity bill
  • Preferred contact method and scheduling preferences
  • SMS and marketing consent selections
  • Any other information you choose to submit through our forms

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Service, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location derived from your IP

  • Send appointment confirmations, follow-ups, and service-related communications

  • Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service

3. SMS and Phone Communications

Mobile/SMS Data: Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent data will only be shared with service providers used solely to deliver messages on our behalf.

Where you have provided your mobile phone number and opted in, National Solar may send you automated transactional SMS messages (such as appointment confirmations and quote follow-ups) and/or promotional SMS messages (such as special offers and energy savings information).

  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out of any SMS program.
  • Reply HELP or email clint@nationalsolarusa.com for assistance.
  • Opting out of SMS does not affect your ability to receive a free site assessment.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including website hosting, analytics, form processing, email delivery, and SMS delivery. These providers are contractually required to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us and in accordance with this Policy.

4.2 Advertising and Analytics Partners

We may share data with advertising and analytics partners (including Microsoft) to measure campaign performance and improve our marketing. When you visit or interact with our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners to associate these activities with other personal information they have about you. 4.6 What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with affiliates or third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, generally between 90 days and 2 years depending on the nature of the relationship. We may retain information longer where required by law, for fraud prevention, or to enforce our agreements.

If you request deletion of your information, we will delete or anonymize it within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes. Residual anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to:

  • Remember your preferences and calculator inputs
  • Understand how visitors interact with the Service
  • Deliver and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Improve site performance and user experience

8.3 Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA)

If you are an Oregon resident, you have rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to: (a) confirm whether we process your personal data; (b) access your personal data; (c) correct inaccuracies; (d) delete your personal data; (e) obtain a portable copy of your data; and (f) opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling that produces significant legal effects.

8.4 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
