Protection That Lasts
Your National Solar system comes with our SolarMax Warranty. This is our promise to stand behind your new solar system and battery storage investment. Starting in January 2026, all systems will be covered under our all-new workmanship warranty, with the option to upgrade to 15-years at time of sale.
SolarMax Includes:
Full, transferable warranty coverage on labor, workmanship, and system performance guaranteed.
After you receive permission to operate (PTO), if a product or installation issue causes your entire system to stop producing power for more than 7 days, we will pay you for up to one month of lost energy production, calculated using current utility rates.
No cost for National Solar service calls during your period for any reason.
Manufacturer warranties back your system’s major components separately, with 15 years on batteries and 25 years on solar panels, and a service call charge will apply after your SolarMax warranty period ends.

Why A Solar Warranty Matters in Oregon
Choosing a solar warranty is about who stands behind your system. National Solar is a women-owned, Bend-based Oregon solar company with a high Energy Trust of Oregon rating, high rated customer reviews, and an award-winning team that designs and installs every system with care since 2009.
Instead of chasing the lowest price with cheap equipment, we use top-tier solar panels, microinverters, and batteries backed by strong manufacturer warranties and our SolarMax Workmanship Warranty coverage. When you search for a reliable solar panel warranty in Oregon or a trusted installer, you want a company that will still be here, answering the phone and honoring its promises. That is exactly what National Solar is built to do.
Solar is a long term investment. Your system can operate for 25 years or more, and many components are warrantied by the manufacturer for up to 25 years. We wanted our own warranty to reflect that same level of commitment. SolarMax is our way of putting in writing what we already do for our customers: we design systems we believe in, we install them like they are on our own homes, and we back them with a clear, straightforward warranty.
