Accessibility Statement
National Solar is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Last updated: June 2026
Our commitment
National Solar believes everyone should be able to learn about solar, request an estimate, and do business with us regardless of ability. We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and voice recognition software.
As a women-owned Oregon business serving customers across the state, we treat accessibility as an extension of our core promise to put customers first.
Conformance standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide array of disabilities and are the standard referenced by U.S. and Oregon accessibility requirements.
Our practices are also intended to align with applicable laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Oregon's nondiscrimination and equal-access provisions under ORS Chapter 659A, which prohibit discrimination in places of public accommodation, including the goods and services offered through this website.
Measures we take
To support an accessible experience, National Solar:
- Uses semantic HTML, descriptive headings, and landmark regions so assistive technologies can navigate the site.
- Provides text alternatives for meaningful images and labels for form fields and interactive controls.
- Designs for sufficient color contrast and does not rely on color alone to convey information.
- Supports keyboard navigation and visible focus states for interactive elements.
- Builds responsive layouts that adapt to zoom, larger text, and a range of screen sizes and devices.
- Reviews new pages and features for accessibility as part of our ongoing development process.
Ongoing efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project. We regularly review our website, address issues as they are identified, and consider accessibility when adding new content, tools, and features. Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible; where we become aware of barriers, we work to remediate them promptly.
Third-party content
Some content and functionality on our website may be provided by third parties (for example, embedded reviews, maps, financing tools, or analytics). While we encourage our partners to provide accessible content, we may not be able to control or fully remediate third-party components. If you encounter a barrier in third-party content, please contact us and we will help you access the information or service you need.
Alternative access and accommodations
If any content or feature on this website is not accessible to you, we will provide the information through an alternative method and assist you directly. You can reach our team by phone or email during business hours to request a quote, schedule a free assessment, or obtain any information available on the site in an accessible format, at no additional cost to you.
Feedback and contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the National Solar website. If you experience difficulty accessing any part of this site, or have a suggestion or accessibility-related request, please let us know and include the page address and a description of the issue. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
