National Solar Wins the 2026 Energy Trust of Oregon Gold Standard Award

Today at the 2026 Energy Trust of Oregon Trade Ally Forum, National Solar received the Gold Standard award. It recognizes the trade ally with the highest combined customer satisfaction and verification score, and it's the top honor Energy Trust gives to solar contractors.

Last year, Energy Trust recognized us for the best Verification Quality and Customer Service. Earning the Gold Standard this year tells us the work our crews and office team put in every day is holding up.

What Is Energy Trust of Oregon?

Energy Trust of Oregon is an independent nonprofit that helps utility customers save energy and generate renewable power. If you're a Portland General Electric or Pacific Power customer, Energy Trust offers cash incentives that lower the cost of going solar and adding battery storage.

Those incentives are only available through approved trade allies. Trade allies are contractors Energy Trust has vetted, and every project they install is checked against Energy Trust's quality standards.

What the Gold Standard Measures

The award looks at two things:

• Customer satisfaction: how homeowners rate their experience with the installer
• Verification: how well installed systems pass Energy Trust's inspections and quality checks

For a homeowner, that means the system is built right the first time, the paperwork for your incentive is handled correctly, and the team you worked with treated you well.
